I no longer post here but just wanted to use he opportunity to announce the release of the latest version of the PT 154.

here's the release announcement as in was posted on PT's forum:

Dear Friends!

After eighteen months of hard work Project Tupolev Team is pleased to announce a new version of Tu-154M v2.03!

A lot of efforts were made in further development of the model, bug fixing and substantial improvements in layout and readability of many gauges.

A new fire protection system, a water supply system, brakes overheating and, the most important, fully functioning fuel automatics and engine thrust dependence on environment conditions have been simulated according to the real airplane characteristics.

Feel the difference between summer heat and winter frosts!

Important! Prior to upgrade make sure you have PT Tu-154M V.2.02 installed!

New features in V2.03

1.The fuel automation for the engines is now modelled.

2.The wheels cooling system operation with regard to the brake disks heat depend now on the braking conditions (with brake overheat effect).

3.New fire protection system was added.

4.Precise time indicator.

5.SRD controller with pressure control device for initial pressurization altitude.

6.On the pressure control devise for the initial pressurization altitude – QFE pressure is set after selecting the aircraft when starting the simulator.

7.Coarse setting of pressure value for pressurization (with increments of 10 mm of mercury) by right mouse-click was added.

8.SSOS (dangerous speed alarm system) control was added.

9.A row of dummy toggle-switches was added to the Flight Engineer overhead panel.

10."Обогрев дверей" ('Doors heating') toggle-switch is simulated.

11.Additional sound and animation were added to certain instrument buttons and toggle-switches.

12.Vertically oriented DME selection toggle-switch is added.

13.The 'Zero' position for the hydraulic fluid level indicator needle was corrected.

14.БКК-ТЕСТ (BKK-TEST) light was added.

15.The rotary switch position sequence for 100V power network control is corrected.

16.The СО-72М transponder was remodelled.

17.The engine vibration detector check is simulated.

18.The 'Transparency' of the rotary switches on the electric system panel was eliminated.

19.The mouse zones for the landing gear lever were corrected.

20.The landing gear warning light for the Flight Engineer was added.

21.Water supply system is modelled.

22.The alarm system control elements for the tail compartment temperature are now serviceable.

23.The control elements of the drain outlet heating system are now serviceable.

24.PTS phase designation for the 36V power network rotary switch is corrected.

25.The needles on the Flight Engineer panel are movable now.

26.The engine oil pressure is adjusted in accordance with the Tu-154M Flight Manual.

27.РВ-5 radio-altimeter check buttons are added.

28.The "Неисправность двигателя" ('Engine failure') warning light operation logic was corrected.

29.The upper indication value of the radio-altimeter scale on ИП-33 is corrected (25 instead of 30).

30.APK (ADF) needles motion is corrected for the cases when a signal is unavailable.

31.If the aft luggage compartment is opened, the 3rd engine start-up will be blocked.

32.The engines start-up will be blocked unless all the pumps of the feed fuel tank are engaged.

33.ТВГ (exhaust gas temperature) check can be performed only when the control is on and 27V power supply.

34.The error of an engine starting up without any fuel supply (by РОД (engine stop handle) switching over) is corrected.

35.Now the engines can continue operating, being supplied with fuel remaining in pipelines (for 20 seconds).

36.THB fuel pump indicator on the Flight Engineer panel will now operate only when 27V power supply is on.

37.The standby fuel pump can operate only in flight.

38.There are new warning light bitmaps on the Pilot-in-Command panel.

39.Now the temperature adjustment toggle-switches on ПКМ are switched over mutually.

40.When power supply is being turned off, the APU instrument needles, air-conditioning system temperature indicator needles and oil temperature indicator needles will move to the extreme left zone of the scale.

41.The beacon sounds error is corrected.

42.The intercom console is insonified.

43.AHT and PAM APK-15 modes are realized.

44.The intercom toggle-switch on the pilots' upper electric panel is serviceable now.

המטוס רק לFS9 נכון?

גם אם הוא היה לX , עדיין צריך ללמוד רוסית בשביל להטיס אותו :)

הכל יפה וטוב לבב, הבעיה היחידה מתחילה עם בעיית השפה, כמה שהייתי אשף ב-742, וטס לא רע עם הקונקורד, לא הצלחתי בשום אופן לתפעל את המטוס כשכל המערכות ברוסית, פשוט כמעט בלתי אפשרי.

אפילו כשיש TOOLTIPS לכל בורר, כפתור ולחצן, עדיין אני צריך לקבל תמונה כוללת את הפאנלים והיכן נמצאים כל הכפתורים. (ז"א אני לא רוצה לעבור כפתור כפתור בשביל למצוא את זה שאני צריך).

עם כל הכבוד לריאליסטיות, ישנם דברים שפועלים נגד אותם לא דוברי רוסית.
