Watch this video to learn about this powerful tool. http://skyvector.com/content/video-tutorial וכעת לסיור עצמו Our next leg takes us to Cape Town – Tavern of the Seas and said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. On a similar latitude to Sydney and Buenos Aires it has a warm Mediterranean climate, good for farming and especially grapes. Cape Town is dominated by Table Mountain (1086 metres) and 2 kiletres long which often has the famous tablecloth of clouds. At its feet is the city and Table Bay (looking very much like Haifa Bay). The peninsula sweeps to the south for 25 miles and inland is the Hottentots Holland mountains and between is the Cape Flat on which is situated Cape Town International Airport. Cape Town has wonderful beaches and an exciting Waterfront and is the top tourist destination in Africa. Visit also the surrounding towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl, French Hoek and Hermanus. Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa with a parliament situated in the Gardens – the old company gardens of the Dutch East India Company. Cape Town is a very multicultural and multi-ethnic city. Our flight will take us along the south coast of South Africa, not far from Cape Aghulas, the southernmost point on the African continent and known worldwide as the Cape of Storms, the dividing point between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. You are assured of a warm welcome in Cape Town and will be spending the week in a delightful environment. Your route: FAGG NEVIR GE FACT distance approximately 180 miles. Use a small aircraft for a low level slow scenic flight הסברים על קיפ טאון Photos of Cape Town attached herewith: The first picture shows Table Mountain over 1000 metres high - and the face is more than 2 kilometres long. The left mountain is called Devils’s Peak and the right is Lion’s Head. You can see the City with its Waterfront in the foreground and the magnificent harbor. The Second picture is very interesting as it shows the same shot taken from a height of 10,000 feet. You can see the whole of the Peninsula stretching away to the South with cape Point in the distance at the top 25 miles away. In the middle distance is the Cape Flats. If we get permission to do a site seeing flight around Cape Town, we will take off from the FACT on the Cape Flats, fly north over the city, around to the right and down the Atlantic seaboard to the right, and cross south of the mountains over the middle of the Peninsula into False Bay to land once more. The Third picture is the magnificent beach at Clifton - home of the bikini יציאה כרגיל 21.30

Please set your time to daylight. This city is one of the most beautiful in the world – dominated by Table Mountain, 3000 feet high – named because its flat top and almost constant cloud on top which of course has been called the table cloth. The city lies in the bowl at its feet and faces the extensive harbor – not unlike Haifa Bay. Table Bay is to the north and at its entrance – Robben Island – where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years. To the south is the Cape Peninsula. In the west is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the east is False Bay. At the tip of the long peninsula is Cape Point and Capetonians like to think that this marks the join between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Take off from Cape Town International on Runway 01 (or overfly) and climb to 2000 ft and fly on the Cape Town NDB 462.5 for 5 miles and then turn north west towards the Robben Island NDB ZUI 310.3. Observe Table Mountain looming on your left hand side with the city at it’s feet. Now turn to the south keeping the coast close by and fly along the Atlantic Ocean seaboard past Hout Bay on your left and the adjacent Chapman’s Peak mountain. Now turn left and fly across the low lying land towards False Bay. You can see the Hottentots Holland Mountains on the horizon 25 miles to the east. Fly to the middle of the bay, turn left once more and prepare to land on runway 01.
