ha5mvo פורסם מאי 23, 2005 דיווח פורסם מאי 23, 2005 Originally planned as patch for Version 9.4, but now a spectacular update 9.5. with features not seen in FS before : In FS 2004, we have a great weather system with beautiful textures, but where are the important dangers of weather? Now we start to let you feel a new FS experience : - Weather dependent braking and friction coefficients. On wet, snowy and icy runways, don't waste a single meter of available runway at touchdown. There might be a siginificant increase in braking distance. Different thrust is needed to get the Tu-154 rolling in different weather conditions ! Heavy rain can cause a remarkable reduction in friction coefficient. - Temperature dependent engine performance. Better think before about safe takeoff and initial climb on a really hot day ! Above 30 deg Celsius it is necessary to limit the takeoff weight ! A new dimension of realistic flight planning and simulation !! Also in the update, a new and easier to handle Joystick device with more axes and button functionality, VC night textures, updated flight dynamics and cockpit sounds, revised manual and some little corrections. you'll need to have ver9.4 installed prior to installing the update http://www.protu-154.com/files_e.html

ha5mvo פורסם מאי 25, 2005 מחבר דיווח פורסם מאי 25, 2005 Learn russian??? There is a 168(!) page long ENGLISH manual, and a dedicated forum in english. most gauges have ENGLISH tooltips so you know exactly what they are..... True, some knowledge of russian alphabeth may be handy, but it s by far not a must. The fact is, that my russian remained that of a 3 years old....my age when I came to Israel, and that was more than 30 years ago... So, no, the language isn't the snag in this case. I admit that there are more people interested in Boeings and Airbuses than there are in Tupolevs or anything else(especially if its older steam-gauge technology) but as far as I can be objective, the level of sophistication for this package is on par with the latest top-notch payware. Also, its an ever evolving project (hey, we're freeware developers.... ) so the package is constantly updated currently on the agenda (under development or to be released soon) we have: a fully functional KLN90-b GPS system a dedicated TCAS more polished, "payware-like" bitmaps At any rate, if questions arise regarding the package, I'll be more than happy to provide answers best regards //Michael
