Nice VATSIM ATC coverage there and lots of traffic. Ideal time to fly around a bit and relax. Oh no, no the time is not ideal. Again it's something like 11PM, before you're free to fly and there's some ATC and... you're terribly tired. Sounds familiar to you? We felt the same way before, but then we came up with the "Good Morning, Helsinki" Fly-In. Ten hours of next to professional ATC covering the southern Finland at Sunday morning. What could be more perfect time for flying than the morning after a well slept night? And what's best, it doesn't really matter how much an early bird you are, for the first flights are to leave at 0500 UTC, but the service will last at least till 1500 UTC. _Please visit us, let's make it a wakeup for more realistic simming experience!_ 2) עוד אירוע בפינלנד היום בערב Have you ever been wondering where the worlds best ski-jumper - Matti Nykänen is? On Friday 16th he is visiting Kauhava, Finland and VACC Finland arranges fly-in at EFKA in his honour. Bring all those thousands of fans all around the world for a visit. Fly-in starts at 19UTC and ends not sooner than 22UTC. If you don't know who Matti Nykänen is you can still help us - come to EFKA with empty aircrafts and take the Citizens of Kauhava away from the city, perhaps to the beautiful scenery of Finnish Lapland (EFRO) or to your hometown. Citizens are really eager to get away from the city when Matti arrives . Hopefully we get atleast few inbound flights and not every flight is outbound one . Starting at 19:00 LT (1800UTC) and ending at cca 21:30 LT... We are expecting 1 or 2 VAs do drop in and make a crowd.. Expect the Swiss FIR to be well-staffed today. Genf LSGG and Zuerich LSZH are present with full ATC coverage, accompanied by Swiss radar (CTR). This will be the first in a line of Swiss online days to be held every two weeks at changing weekdays in cooperation with different FIR´s. The online day starts at 1900Z (20:00h local), and coverage will be provided at least until 2200Z (23:00h local). In addition, there will be an APP checkout this evening at Frankfurt EDDF, which makes the route LSZH-EDDF-LSZH the ideal racetrack. Therefore EDDF will be also fully staffed this evening. We plan ATC coverage of LKAA as early as 09:30LOC untill app.17:00LOC ( 08:30Z - 16:00Z ), because on Sunday the Helsinki "morning fly-inn" is planned in Finland. All pilots flying to/from Czech airports or overflying this airspace will be welcome :-)). ===================================== Pilots may fly to/from any airport of LKAA ; IFR or VFR flights are possible. You can expect LKAA_V_CTR and LKXX_V_APP as minimum ATC coverage, other positions depend on traffic. For better information of pilots about Czech airspace and airports we have the pages with actual charts, airports sceneries and some flightplans with destination/departure in Czech.
