Vatsim Events??

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

I would like to know why and how come LLBG does not have MONTHLY Vatsim events? It would be nice if Vatil offers MONTHLY vatsim events starting at Israeli and European time zone and ending at midnight in EST (U.S.A.) time zone.

I think LLBG and Eliat airports each should have monthly events!!!!

Despite everything we do VATIL is a small division. Scheduling a monthly event, each for a long period of time, is not something any VATSIM division can guarantee, not even the major ones. We do however have many events, as history shows, and usually major events are never spaced more than 2-3 weeks apart.

Having said that, why do you need a monthly event as en excuse to fly? You have highly qualified ATC and pilots online almost every day!

I do not see any announcements of major events for LLBG or Eilat airports every 2 or 3 weeks. Where can I find such announcements, please?

I love vatsim airport events because I relish challenge of flying into extremely crowded airspace full of one hundred planes heading to same airport:):)

It is possible that I must have missed announcements of LLBG or Eilat airport events happening every 2 or 3 weeks maybe because they are written in Hebrew, not English???

Thanks for reply but I am in America, not in Europe or Israel and I like to participate in events from 7 pm EST to 11 pm EST.

LLBG had non stop 3 day event which was great for me and my time zone!!!

I wish there are LLBG and Eilat events that suit America's time zone as there are many American Jewish people and Israelis living in America!!!!

First of all, yes, most of the local events are published under the forum and usually in Hebrew. Regarding the time zones we can't really help it, most of the division is located in the Israeli time zone and we adapt to the time zone of the mass of the users. However like you can see we do hold larger events which span across more hours such as the Real Ops event or the "Control Room" events (which can span up to 72 hours).

Thanks for reply. Can you or VATIL please be kind enough to see what you or they can do to create new subforum called Vatil Events so that I can see events and use computer software to translate from Hebrew to English?
