yes, this is one if not the most, sofisticated freeware offering available.

one thing to note, if you want to get it moving, you'll need to read the manual.....

all 150 pages of it!

AND perhaps a real opportunity for some to learn a thing or two about navigation

The package has some groundbreaking features, and is a definite "must" in my opinion

I'm proud to announce our all new Project Tupolev Tu-154B2, Version 9.4., much improved to the old award winning 9.3. Version.

It is available now at the FSNordic file library, look at http://files.fsnordic.net/new/ or at FlightSimulator/Aircraft/Airline Fleets/Siberia.

I'll put some pictures in the Screenshot Forum later today. Here's our feature list already :

Optics :

- new state-of-the-art visual model

- custom animations (extending/retracting landing lights, engine replenishment inlets)

- 2D Panel with choice of standard and (soon after release) photorealistic bitmaps

- Virtual cockpit

- choice of VC and non-VC models, FS2002 and FS2004 models

Liveries :

- Siberia Airlines (RA-85492, RA-85556), Ural Airlines, KrasAir (in 9.4 Package)

- more liveries (Aeroflot, SIAT-Sibaviatrans, Samara, Yakutia, Malev, Balkan, etc. ) soon after release

2D-Panel :

- main panel plus 10 subpanels (Captains and Copilot Panel, Overhead panel, flight engineer panel, Autopilot panel, NVU navigation panel, Virtual Navigator, Checklist panel, KM-5, internal NVU calculator)

- custom Autopilot simulating all functions of the real plane (Modes H, M, V, 3K, HBY, A3-I, A3-II, Zachod, Gliss), pitch and bank channel independenly operatable, realistic autopilot initialization procedure

- custom autothrottle

- authentic reverse thrust (only the two outer engines provide reverse thrust)

- custom elevator trim routine

- TRUE Center of Gravity simulation with manual and semi-automatic stabilizer handling

- switchable nosewheel steering modes (10, 63 degrees)

- TKS-P2 compass system with authentic gyro alignment procedure (MK, GPK modes) and system check procedures.

- orthodromic NVU navigation system with RSBN correction and wind correction

- Russian RSBN Navaids

- VOR 1/2 navigation via A3-I and A3-II modes, two ADFs with backup frequencies

- APU and electrical system

- realistic engine start procedure on ground, dependent from outside temperature

- inflight engine restart procedure

- realistic fuel system with automatic and manual operation, fuel tank equalization unit, flowmeter check procedures

- hydraulic system with three independent hydrosystems. The hydraulic system is not a dummy, the control surfaces and connected systems (boosters) will gradually fail in case of hydraulic pressure loss !

- electric driven pumps and hydrosystem crossfeed for hydraulic system ground checks

- main landing gear extension/retraction incl. the neutral position, emergency and backup emergency landing gear extension, each dependent from connected hydrosystem

- speed dependent engine autorotation (“windmilling”), keeps hydraulic pressure alive in case of engine failure, but only in certain speed range.

- extendable/retractable landing/taxi lights

- signal light system with 120 failure, warning and advisory lights

Misc.:

- Fuel Planner/Loadeditor with printable Loadsheet

- Realistic cockpit and outside engine sounds and system sounds, more than 50 crew voice callouts.

- MSRP Flight Data Recorder (Black Box), recording 95% of the parameters of the real plane

- OCS Flight Data Analyser using graphical displays and checking violations to real limitations.

- 150 page Russian manual AND 150 page english manual

- optional I-21 Inertial Navigation system

The flight dynamics, rated as "best airliner flight model and feel in the history of flight simulation" (review of Version 9.3. at the German Flightxpress magazine), have been further refined.

CAUTION, steep learning curve. Careful reading of the manual is mandantory. Every detail is explained, down to translated checklists and voices !

Also in the package you will find Siberia Airlines RA-85556, in memory to the crew and passengers lost in the awful tragedy over Rostov in August 2004.

אם הגרוטאה הזאת טסה בין תל-אביב וסנט פיטסברג בלי בעיות, אז וורנה קטנה עלינו 8-[

לא נראה לי שתהיה בעייה לתפעל את המכונה הזאת! הפאנלים לא שונים בהרבה מהטופולב 154M של IGFLY.

אבל באופן כללי, אני מאד שמח ומרוצה שיש מטוסים רוסיים מקצועיים לסימולטור ... זה יכול להיות שינוי נחמד לכל מפעילי המחשבים של LDS וגם PMDG ! :wink:

well, you're right.

if your kick is generating a flightplan by program X, loading it to addon Y, pressing two buttons and forgetting about the rest, then you won't get even past the APU start - and the addon is NOT for you!

!

furthermore, you do not need award-winning dynamics (hey, why should one handfly when one can use an autopilot!)

And whats allt that "magnetic heading"," true heading" waffle?

surely us real pilots don't need any of that :)

just give us a computer that flies a computer so we can all live happily ever after...:)
