Never happened to me before!!!! Very cool!!!!Just to let all of VATIL controllers know that FSX's GPS does not recognize runway 08 of LLBG for landing but I managed to make visual landing without problem.[/b] Tonight around 6:30 pm EST or 23:30z, I plan to depart from LGTS to fly to LLBG using flight number ERO5544 and specific waypoint route: TSL1C UB1 SKP UN132 KEA UL995 RDS UL609 SOLIN UH2 SIRON. Anybody want to join me for group flight is more than welcome to do so!!!! Regards, Aharon Dear Mr. Dayan, For sake of good order, do not blame VATIL controllers of R/W08 ILS frequency. The remedy to your question is in the NEW FSX Ben Gurion scenery patched recently by the creator - David Rozenfeld. Suggest check FSADDON site and d/l the patch, ONLY in case you have the new scenery installed. Also, look arround in the forum for more information on the subject. Happy Hanuca.

I can't see where he blames VATIL controllers. He just didnt know that there is a new update for LLBG. Ahraon, for make the ILS for rwy 08 active you need the payware FSaddon - Ben Gurion or you can download a freeware afcad file from VATIL website.

Aaron, Excuse me?? Can you show me proof that I blamed on VATIL controllers for the fact that FSX's GPS does not recognize runway 08 for landings??? Anyway I am using FS2004 version of freeware LLBG scenery by famous Daniel Rosenfeld and yes I updated it to freeware FSX version by same software author yet FSX' GPS still does not recognize runway 08 for landing. Fortunately, I managed to make visual landing of runway 08 with kind assistance of heading directions from LLBG controllers. My question to all of you is how to I get ALL runways of LLBG in correct sync with GPS for ILS? GPS and LLBG runways never match forcing me to make visual landings all the time. I always make visual landings anyway but it would be nice to have ILS as back up. Aharon

Thanks, Aharon It will not work properly with David Rosenfeld's freeware scenery. LLBG changed a lot in the last few months, so the LLBG 2006 scenery is totaly out of date. It not just about the new ILS for rwy 08, there are new taxiways too. As for FSX GPS, it gets the info from the AFCAD files so if the AFCAD file of a specific airport doesnt include a specific ILS, you won't see it on the default GPS.
