לדעתי לכפיר המתקדם היו כנפי קנראד. גם לסאאב וויגן יש כנפיים מעין אלו. כמה שזכור (מבית ספר לטיסה), כנפונים אלו גרמו לירידת "יציבות" המטוס, ובכך העניקו לו כושר תמרון גדול יותר, אשר היווה יתרון בקרבות אוויר. עופר (בן פרץ), אני חושב כי לך תהייה תשובה מדעית ומדוייקת יותר.

היי לממתינים, קיבלתי היום עדכון רשמי בדוא"ל, ולצערי אינני איש בשורות... למעט 76 המזמינים הראשונים, יהיה על היתר להמתין, לפחות עד... השבוע השני של נובמבר. מצ"ב העתק הדואר שהתקבל אצלי. עדיין מסן-פרנסיסקו, דורון (הממתין) :? Dear PC Aviator Customer I humbly write to provide you with a further update on the status of your Flight Simulator X order through PC Aviator. I don't know what to tell you except that the latest delivery date for our 4100 unit FSX shipment into PC Aviator's warehouse of 24 October has slipped again to 6 November. This is not strictly true however, apparently we will be receiving 76 copies tomorrow October 26. 76 copies out of 4100.... I am beyond puzzled. We will be filling the first 76 orders received with these 76 copies. I have done everything I can to have our order filled by distribution. I have exhausted absolutely every avenue. I sit here shrugging my shoulders and I don't know what else to tell you at this stage. Nobody at Microsoft or their distributor is giving us any answers as to why our order is not being filled. It is the most ironic situation you could ever imagine. The company who promotes Microsoft's Flight Simulator product more than anyone simply cannot get the product to fill orders for its most die-hard flight simulator fanatic customers. I can only speculate as to the reasons why this is happening and cannot give you an answer. One thing I can tell you is that this product has been on retail chain store shelves for several weeks. Maybe it's big business looking after big business by serving them first. Maybe they can't keep up with demand. I can't say for sure. We did place our order over 22 days ago. The constant bumping of our delivery dates may indicate bumping of our order. Again I can't say for sure nor can I say why. What I can say for sure is that situation has devastated our company, PC Aviator, significantly in many ways. I am going to offer you again the opportunity to cancel your order if you wish to try to find this product at your local store. If you wish to cancel, please send an e-mail to orders@pcaviator.com and simply ask us to cancel your order. Since our phones are jammed at the moment this will be the best way to cancel. I already informed you that your credit card for your order was charged on 12 October based upon our originally promised date of 13 October. We anticipated this receipt and proceeded to begin processing orders in the interest of getting you're your product as fast as possible. On Friday we will be refunding all credit cards that we have charged regardless of whether you are canceling or not. If you do not cancel we will recharge your credit card when the product is in our hands. We have not broken any law by charging you early since have 30 days in which to fill your order. But we know that customers don't like it anyway and what concerns us is that we have broken your trust. We're not a greedy corporation trying to get rich. We're a small team of 5 "real" people who try to bring YOU and other flight simmers the best in flight simulation through our products and services. All members of our team work our butts off for not a great deal of return. What we will also be doing tomorrow 26 October, is filling the book portion of any orders for The Flight Simulator Books that may have been ordered as a bundle. Please don't complain to us. There is no good reason why we wouldn't want to get you your FSX order as fast as absolutely possible except that we CANNOT get the product. If you wish to make a grievance, please make it with Microsoft. You will find contact details at their website. היי עופר, אני קיבלתי הודעה בסלולארי מחברת האשראי כי כרטיסי יחוייב ב-$72, כיומיים לאחר שקבלתי אישור בדוא"ל על הזמנתי. בכל מקרה, באם לא קיבלת כל הודעה בדוא"ל, עם מספר הזמנה, יתכן וכי הכתובת אשר נקלטתה אצלם שגויה. אני בין אלה אשר רכשו את ה-FSX דרך PCAviator יחד עם חבילת הבונוסים וההטבות. מחר הנני ממריא לפנות בוקר לסן פרנסיסקו (אך לא באל-על ), וקיוויתי כי אוכל לאסוף את המוצר שם. נראה לי כי הוא יגיע לכתובת האמריקאית שלי אחר שאחזור לארץ, (סופשבוע הבא), מאחר והספקים (או מיקרוסופט) פישלו, ולא עומדים ביעדי המועדים לאספקה. :x להלן העתק הדואר אשר קיבלתי: Dear Valued PC Aviator Customer We are writing to let all of our customers know about the status of their Flight Simulator X orders. We are concerned because PC Aviator's excellent reputation is on the line here. As well as that we understand the "frenzy" that Flight Simulator causes amongst our customers and that you "have" to get that product. We are in a critical dilemma where we have not yet received our inventory due to problems in the supply chain that we cannot get an answer that will resolve our problem from Microsoft or their distribution partner who we ordered from. We had placed 3 large orders with distribution way back on 5 October. This was plenty of time in which to have our Flight Simulator X shipment delivered. We were immediately given a delivery date of 13 October. We had no reason to believe that they would no be delivered by that date and were not informed by the distributor that there was going to be any delay. Since we had 3800 orders to ship (which requires a lot of time and manpower) we anticipated the release by preparing all of our packaging and charged credit cards so that when the product arrived it simply had to be placed in a shipping carton and shipped - in order to get your order to you as fast as absolutely possible. The 13 October date was not met by distribution. This then slipped to 16 October. Then 18 October and now their system is showing 22 October. We are doing everything we can to contact Microsoft, distributors and anyone else in the supply chain to get our shipment as soon as absolutely possible. It is very difficult to get answers when you are a small company dealing with megacorporations. We can't apologize enough for this issue and understand fully if you wish to cancel your order for Flight Simulator X through PC Aviator. If you wish to try to source the product locally at a local store, we fully understand. If you wish to source it at a local store, we suggest that you call around first. It is apparently difficult to get at the moment since demand is exceeding supply. We are confident - but with around 95% certainty that we will have inventory to ship by around 24 October - 1 week after the initial street date. We are waiting on one response from Microsoft that "may" result in us receiving our order earlier than 24 October. If you do wish to cancel your Flight Simulator X preorder, please simply send an e-mail to orders@pcaviator.com. State that you wish to cancel your order. Please ensure that you include your customer number. If you have a Flight Simulator X book on preorder and wish to receive that then just state that in your e-mail. We will immediately refund your card accordingly. Since the small profit we make on Flight Simulator X was going to pay for the bonuses we are offering, if you do cancel we will not be able to provide those added bonuses. We will of course honor the bonuses for orders that are not cancelled. If on the other hand you can wait just a few more days, then simply do not act or respond to this e-mail. Your order will arrive as fast as practically possible from the date we receive our inventory. We cannot apologize enough for this. We have grown to be the biggest supplier of flight sim products over the past 7 years and our reputation is of the highest standard. We are sad for you because we do know just how much you want this new Flight Simulator release. הצעה בהחלט שווה. המנוי הינו ערך מוסף בהחלט ומומלץ! אני כבר מנוי על ירחון זה שנה שלישית ברציפות, ומתכוון לממש את ההטבה הזאת!

Both are available in some stores, it may very well be that the store you found simply didn't have it in stock. The real question is, wether investing in fsx now , would be worth a while. Reading many peoples comments, I get the impression that a stripped down fsx (for performance reasons) is considerably inferior to a fully loaded fs9, and that's before we even started talking about addon compatibility issues. So, in my case at least, I prefer to wait and live without any galloping giraffes below me. לפי מה שראיתי בדמו זה בדיוק המצב. על המחשב שלי, FSX באופן בו אפשר להריץ אותו בצורה סבירה, נחות בשני סדרי גודל מ-FS9. אני מתכוון להחליף מחשב רק אחרי ש-VISTA יצא (פשוט כדי לא לסלק ולהתקין הכל מחדש אחרי כן) ועד אז FSX מחות לתחום. שימו לב!!! מי שמחכה ל-VISTA שידע כי אין תמיכה ל-GAMEPORT. כלומר אם חיברתם JoyStick, מיצערת, פדלים או כל התקן חיצוני ישן אשר לא מתממשק ל-USB, אזי הוא לא יעבוד. (כך לפחות לגבי VISTA Beta2. אולם, גם לא ראיתי כוונות של יצרנים לפתח דרייברים ל-GAMEPORT) .

אני עם המזל שלי ... נמצא בדיוק בבריטניה (דרום ווילס ליתר הדיוק). מקווה לא להפסיד את הביקור הבא...

אני כרגע באנגליה. מקווה כי יהיה לי סיכוי בטיסה חזרה (318 מהית'רו) ביום חמישי בלילה (12.10.06)....

בעוד שבוע (פחות 14 שעות) הנני אמור להמריא בטיסת 315 ללונדון. אני מחזיק אצבעות ומקווה כי הטופס ששלחתי, יפתח בפני את דלת הקוקפיט :wink: גמר חתימה טובה.

לדעתי גם בשלות ה-FSX לעבוד ברשת תגרום לקצב המעבר לשימוש בו. מה עם זמינות ותאימות ל-FSX של תוספים ומודולים כגון FSUIPC, סקוובוקס, FSNAVIGATOR ועוד כאלו אשר משמשים תשתית לטיסות המשותפות שלנו ברשת? כל זה עניין של זמן כל עוד FSX איננו בשל לטיסה ברשת, אזי ההנאה ממנו תהיה חלקית, לכן אינני רואה עצמי מחליף כל כך מהר את פלטפורמת הסימולטר :?

אהבתי את התמונה מתוך הקוקפיט לכוון השעה-7 והמנוע השמאלי. לא בטוח כי PSS מספקים מבט כזה ב-2D או ב-3D... כל הכבוד על המיזם!
