i reinstalled the heads from a working drive into the one that failed got my drive data back with this one worst case, you can buy the tool to pull out the actual plates; than install them into a functioning drive the data is never lost, its the mechanical parts who fail; or the mainboard this is essentially what a professional lab will do; to get your data out i just had to improvise the process without the proper tools the one i lost two weeks ago im still waiting for the board to come in
