i have been noticing the internet is changing i guess its something we have to live with Google's policy and application changed mostly thanks to increased profits through stock owners the world became dependent on Alexa's monitoring and reporting sites health as way of determining sites profitability the more clicks reported, the better the site ratings for investors since few director noticed this pattern we now have to click more times to get where we want or go through several proxy redirect so everyone can feed off the traffic reports long story short there are ways to get your internet somewhat back to normal the first one ill mention is a plugin either for chrome or Firefox, its called Redirect Cleaner this app removes redirect from images and search results with Google search this saves so much time and gets you to your search results 10 times faster https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirect-cleaner

Mega is the fastest of the two mentioned mediafire offers more control than Mega does atm; and is the bigger player of the two i believe mediafire still enforces files size upload limit, but they increased the total storage limit to 50GB speaking from personal experience , iVFR & GDEM v2 files are hosted with MEGA i haven't had a single issue with downloads from MEGA i think in your case mediafire is better suited they offer more features and control with slightly slower speeds

on one hand i understand Ido's point on the other i see Baraks good intention to help new comers i believe the scenery inst distributed as a file collection rather as a complete scenery which includes ISP work in it running setups over this may introduce some complication Barak is trying to avoid and save time !i do think credits should be made maybe as part of the advertising post or inside the scenery directory; a text file with credits does any of the above sound like it may satisfy as a middle ground solution ,Chris

right on Yarden, it might be missing few scenery here and there but its pretty organized and massive for a freeware collection it also seems to be keeping up to date with scenery i saw Bar's LLOV scenery posted there under Israel section

i still believe some of this imagery is staged as i described above we can all speculate until this is out for us to test in person (i know there is no need for a monster workstation (when sliders go left i have no issue with finding out i was wrong, will gladly eat my shoe's in this case i have all of ORBX scenery installed on my station they were always heavy for me, since i fly low

i have noting against you, i don't know you i clicked the link you posted with the orbx pics i thought it was their station; never the less in case you are still confused with or hung on the word staged ...when you want to snap an amazing pic you pause, let the terrain render itself all the way through turn on high traffic, object or any other effect that makes the pic looks better and you snap your amazing pic from the perfect angle that's staging for me you wont fly your aircraft under these setting i hope this makes sense

?did you notice there's no aircraft in the pic !these are staged pics you cannot fly in this heavy scenery unless you have a super workstation to illustrate my point; no objects, no waves, no traffic, no other autogen other than trees (try not to focus on the fact that things aren't aligned in this pic (its a bad trial focus on tree density and spread this is with engines off; that means no flight dynamic is added to the calculation; thus saving few more FPS as is i cant get more than 4 FPS there

Thank you Adi, i will post more pics and video's to help the process GIS - Geographic information system these are special files containing data about Geographic information the data needs to be parsed then converted to usable information just as an example the file i parsed for the lights you see was a 10 hour process just to parse the little bit of data i needed from it after that whole bunch of other processes have to come to place before the data is useable if there's a mistake or the output wasn't satisfactory; guess what happens next GIS data has nothing to do with Mesh the files im making will work over any photoreal; as long as area features are called

One other note to our Developer’s I wanted to explain what im doing As I don’t want development to stop Im am processing GIS Data, this doesn’t affect any objects or textures developed All im doing is using map data to tell Sim where to put what, sort of a placeholder I can populate all of Israel with my files (I did), as they are paid professional GIS files of Israel They accurately contain every little detail about each building or road or any terrain feature, what type it is where it is etc When I populate these placeholders, they are there for autogen to place its objects This doesn’t prevent or overwrite any custom developed objects Pls feel free to ask any question Chris

This is something that has been bothering me for some time Not sure what’s the root of this issue is; I thought it was my English I post my videos and pics For one main reason; which is – feedback secondary is to get you all excite about what’s cooking Im not talking about likes tag, or - wow this looks great feedback Although these are nice; and motivate us developers to push it harder Im looking for feedback; from you guys who live in Israel and see the terrain daily …Too much green, too many buildings, missing here missing there etc I can count on one hand the members who do care, maybe two Which is a sad fact; in a community of over 2400 members! welcome initiative Barak; glad to see others actively looking to contribute; well done i have a few suggestions that might help improve the process efficiency id divide this in two or three sessions; allowing more members to join in when they can recording for members to catch up in case they missed, or just to listen again when the class is over i wouldn't try and cover it all in one session as sometime too much information; is just too much to process at once if you can brake this down into difficulty levels for each lesson this can be easier on you as the instructor and the students

ive installed these; they worked fine out the box i run into the infamous roof gable issue; but im not sure if this existed prior i noticed it with so many rooftops; as i usually don't fly with autogen
