  1. Hagay No you won't find TCAS in this version of the PMDG 737, they are saving it for the 800/900 release. You can find though a TCAS gauge (actually there is more than one) if you search AVSIM library. If you followed my recomendation for the freeware DC9 by Stellan Hilmerby, you'll find a TCAS gouge there You can also find a nice gauge in Eric Marcianos panel for the F16. It has the appearence or a "radar" and beside showing the aircraft around you it also provides some other info Hope that helped Ha5
  2. Yep, must agree! very well done, I was surprised at the very small impact this has on frames Thanx Alex
  3. Nox It IS available @ avsim com
  4. Does it have any comatibility issues with other scenery?
  5. Tal so far I came across two noteworthy packages 1 Stellen Himlerbys DC9 (see my other post). 2 Oleksy Frolovs Dash 8 Both are available at Avsim The panel bitmaps may not be as impressive as the payware stuff, but in terms of functionality they surpass them! oh, yes you can also try Roy Chaffins B-25 if you're into A/C of this type. the link is http://www.roychaffin.com/rcs-panels.html
  6. Stellan Hilmerby released his new DC9 package for FS9, a "must have" in its category IMO. it can be downloaded at avsim as well as at the authers site http://www.hilmerby.com Its not one of them "fire up and fly" panels but rather complex and very true to the real world flight deck (Stellan has been flying the real thing for about 20 years, I guess he should know a thing or two about it) Surprisingly the panel is very frame rate friendly, in short- well worth the download
  7. I have just seen them over at www.navdata.at thanks for the effort
  8. Can any of you say what frame rates you're getting(press shift + z
  9. As a matter of fact, if you are not planning to design your own airport, then you don't need the program. simply download the files and put it in some active scenery folder - you can designate one solely for this purpose - I find this way more tidy and convenient.
  10. Well, PIC767 is consideres , to date, to be the best addon for FS ,(It has an outstanding dynamics(FDE superb sound, and most importantly, the most comprehensive panel with almost all of the systems operative - a definite "must have The bad news though, is that it won't work in FS2004 PIC 767 is quite old originally it was designed for FS2000, with the basic panel stemming to FS98 It was later patched for FS2002 but no official patch will be issued for FS2004. There is an "unofficial patch" you can get from various sites but IMO it's way too clumsy and improvised An entirely new version - PIC767 V2 is in the making but release date is yet unknown, surely not in the near future O.K, hope that unswered some of your questions Bottom line- if you intend to still use FS2002 for a long time - go get it If you're using FS2004 wait for version 2 //Mike
  11. Just download the file, you can find it either on flightsim.com or avsim. com Than move the files to your scenery- world -- texture subfolder There is one snag though, your video card must be able to support DX9 There is an easy way of knowing this. if you can move the "watter effects" slider all the way to the right, then you should be ok. If you can't , then don't even bother with these files Hope that helps //Mike
  12. Just a heads-up There is some new North-israel landclass released today Just search through avsim.com
  13. If you're using FS2K then go ahead. for FS9 panels I would advise you to wait a while, so far there are just the A330/340 available and these are still riddled with bugs I would wait until the patches are out, judging by PSS track record they will come up with a decent fix eventually
  14. Sorry, got rhe link wrong (its a 403 error, I guess I should have checked it) <--Anyway its fsnordic.net than file library MSFS--> Misc files -->addons BTW, How can I get this thing to write from left to right, I'm afraid my Hebrew leves a lot to be desired and its easier for me to write in english Thanx
  15. Try looking at FSNORDIC for the no-cd patch http://files.fsnordic.net/cgi-bin/file/ ... gi?ID=1365 It's NOT illegal although there is still some debate about it. Anyway it saves a lot of husstle
