silly questions, wont this conflict with the Frankfurt Overload? I remember seeing somwhere that a bunch of Pilots want to fly as a group from Israel to Frankfurt...

its a little ironic... I just landed at LLBG after a nice flight from KJFK in my lovely 777. When I got to the gate, C6, I set the radios so that the sleeve would connect.. and it DIDNT... looks like there is a virtual strike after all! :cry: LOL

I know that the Russian supersonic plane... the Tupolev whaterver... had retractable Canards for take offs and landings... Tu-144 you meant, but if you want to look for the first plane to use the concept, you should track it back to the ...flyer one.... So true!!! :mrgreen:

It is an Airfoil on the front part of the aircraft , used to produce extra lift and / or act as a Rudder and ailerons depending on the design. When I was in KFDK i saw a Cessna 182 with a Canard.

Omri, thanks for all of that hard work and dedication.. I wanna say goodbye to you all, I will be leaving in about 2 hours to Ben Gurion and at 5:30, i will be on my way to Gaithersburg! Pictures will be coming.. but hey, Omri has shown it all!!!! :mrgreen:

I say this with all well intentions.. Dont waste your time learning here its more expensive, the buracracy sux and the options here are VERY limiting. Follow the trend, save up the money and go for a few months to the USA and get your lisence there.

In my case, i had the conflict in two places.. EDDF in winter day time and in LLBG during summer daytime.. Hopefully this fixed it all...

The problem started wehn I installed a freeware texture set called "silverwings" the textures conflicted with LLBGs summer textures. I "fixed" it by buying "Ground Enviroment from flight 1 :mrgreen:

Until this past week I had problem with my LLBG scenery. I have had these troubles for a about 2 months, so I stopped flying into TLV becasue it would crash me sim.. but thats fixed now...

I didnt mean for it to be an "END OF THE SUMMER PARTY" event.... if this plan for a VATIL fly in indeed becomes an event for every two weeks, It can be set up for Sukkot for example.

Why not "keep it in the family"? let me explaine my idea... Both Arkia and Israir operate flights within israel, they fly out of LLBG/ LLET and LLSD... Arkia used to have flights to the north,,,, I dont remember to where exactly. ANYWAYS... why not take a Shabbat/ Sunday/ Holdiay and mimick Israeli local flights for that day, Its real ops for internal israeli flights. Pilots would book slots and depart at the designated times on the desgintated aircraft. All of Israel will be buzzing with ATR 72s, ATR-42s and 757-200s.. I think it would be awsome and I know that VATIL has the manpower to pull it off.
