Hi, Those who are familiar with the Tu134 by SCS (and for those who are not...) Are welcomed to download version 0.95 from here: http://tu-134.argo-khabarovsk.ru/files.html the package itself: http://tu-134.argo-khabarovsk.ru/downlo ... v0.9.5.zip and some livaries are available as well in that link I gave at the top. Improvements over 0.94 include: - new Copilot panel - flight model changed - Flight data recorder MSPR-64 added; - simple GPS Navigator Trimble Approach added; - new sounds; - Some errors of previous version are corrected This will be the LAST version to be released as freeware. The final version of the panel would be available as a part of a joint SCS/Samdim Design package and shall be offered as PAYWARE for further info/questions/checklists etc, you can visit the english support forum: http://www.protu-154.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=24 All other PT projects are alive and kicking, though not without the occasional hiccup which stalls the projected progress. Once there's any news I'll let you know.

PFD חדש לבואינג 777. ISDT PROJECT -הושלמה הבניה + תמונה חדשה

well done Max, great job!! -
F1 is the publisher for the LDS 767, just as Wilco are the publishers for the FeelThere 777. I thought LDS are working on a 757. I'd like to see some new or groundbreaking features on the 75. Having the good old PIC panel mounted on a new visual model (even with a good FDE) will, IMO, not be worth the $$ they'll be charging for it
-
Thirty Euros for what????? Better get the ISDT T7 and support freeware! * edit I did notice the FDE is done by Rob Young - so it MUST be very good, still the price is WAY too high for this type of addon

Here's the first version of the detailed Il-62M Manual : www.protu-154.com/files/IL62M_V1_03_eng.zip 91 pages. Detailed panel, autopilot and system description. Tutorials for airplane setup and usage of the standard maneuver mode. Example flight USSS-UNNT using the NV-PB system and much more infos. The example flight is quite tough and requires a lot of entries in the NV-PB system units, so you might need a few tries for a flawless flight. I highly recommend to go through it, for me it's a major highlight in FS to be able to 'feel' such an intense Pilot and Navigator experience !! The manual has not been completely proofread by the Il-62M experts yet, so if you want, consider it still sort of 'beta' at this stage, thus there may be slight revisions. As usual, feedback is welcome ! And here's the FS flight plan for the example flight : www.protu-154.com/files/USSS-UNNT_byNCalc.PLN Have fun !

FSX הטכנולוגיה לבניית כדור הארץ, יש גם תמונות חדשות!

As a metter of fact, you can get decent performance even from a somewhat older computer - you'll just need to compromise some eye candy. Its only natural for the developers to make use of the latest available technology. They leave you the option though, to customize and make your own balance - a fair approach, IMO -

I seriously doubt it, the physical engine as you call it had seen very few changes over the last couple of versions. As a matter of fact it is my feeling (and not only mine ) that it is/was developed by someone outside microsofts FS team, although its just a speculation. By the way, Ran, could you elaborate on what would you like to see improved? I'd be the last to admit that its perfec, but taking into account the wide variety of aircraft its supposed to support, I thinkthey did a fair job. -
I don't see what's the problem in housing non-sim related stuff in a separate section. Surely such section will NOT contain any "Yalla Beitar" threads. Its not easy to draw the line on what is related and what's not. If you want to relax the "rules" a little, then an off-top section will make it even easier - true, you'll need to trust the forums members to have the common sense not to abuse it, but I have seen that concept working so well in so many other forae-non of which had turned into an origami club

Indeed! therefor Kobi, support for free or commercial addons has no place here (its not affiliated in any way with Vatsim ,and those guys have their support forums amyway). Thus, should the support forum host only questions regarding SB or FSInn? Cockpit building? what does that have to do with it?? don't get me wrong - I think its great to have the CB forum , I'll be more than happy to provide support for addons (even more so if they are freeware) to ask and contribute on whatever issue - even though I do not fly online. Does that exclude me from participating? mind you- I'm not a Vatsim member. If you filtered out the messages based on the nerrow criteria you have just defined you would end up with a very dull forum - IMHO. wether or not you create a separate section is not important, it would jusst make things a bit more convenient IMO, but surely you don't want to limit the discussion only to Vatsim related stuff - or do you?

Interesting, I was not aware of the history Since you brought Chicago as an example, I think SD can be compared to Meigs, rather than O`hare or Midway, and we all klnow what became of it..... Even here there is a loud debate over city halls decision to open "Island Airport" for commercial traffic They are talking about 6-8 turbo-prop movements per day. the size and location of the airport is very similar to that of SD. persomally, as I live in that vicinity, I'd like to see the environmentalists win The tendency, as I see it, is to move airports away of city centers - and rightfully so. London is more of an exception than the rule, in this respect
-
its an airport Oren, not some cultural monument. If more than anything, it's a source of polution - then why not scrape it?

Just remember that in order to implement real world values for a sim model - you'll need the medel ti emulate FF values accurately, which most models don't!
-
IMO, Yaniv, policing should be kept to the very minimum - or idealy not be there at all. you'll be surprised to see, that a good, co-operative atmosphere can go a long way.

It all depends on how exactly you define the purpose of these forums Oren. From a narrow point of view, people like me don't belong here - since I never fly online. In terms of information, well, there are more than one site that is at least as informative as this one. What's unique about this place is that its the only get-together joint of the ISRAELI flightsim COMMUNITY, and it is that sense of COMMUNITY that I would like to see developing. You might be right in your observation regarding the popularity of an off-topic section. From my own experience with "Project Tupolev"s forums the off-topic sections are amongst the most popular ones (the russian "Bar" section is extremely busy, less so the english "hangar talk" ) but they don't seem to replace, or come instead of the related stuff.

For those that use the Ekateinburg sccenery, a small fix had been issued that improves the ground markings, corrects the centerline width and adds cracks to the tarmac. link: http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=6090

Hi, Rick Piper and Co from CBFS have uploaded their rendition of the budgie. For those who are not familiar with the group, let me say they are a great bunch of guys producing some of the better models I've seen! Besides, what can be better than supporting a freeware group, right? The model is available from Avsim (2 or 3 files, the third is optional and contains just repaints) or you can get it from allnodesbusy.com as a single file Enjoy!!

OK, Hopefuly we got it right this time... this is the download link for the full , most up-to-date version The english preliminary manual was beefed up and I believe it has enough info (properly presented) to get going. so, whoever is interested, enjoy! http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=83851

SmileUsing the "Download" button, you can fetch an archived file and check it out for yourself..

It may really be a ground breaking feature, though its of very little relevance for the vast majority of users - myself included Support and attitude is surely something to rekon with, though I was examining it purely on the basis of the software quality and the features it offers. As such I don't see too much to separate it from its compatitor. As you say, its more a matter of personal preferences. As for the patch - I didn't get the T7 (too similar to the 767 and 744 Which I already have), but I see that Rob Young was drafted to help with the FDE - I'm sure its going to make a big difference. I
